DAY 1 AIRPORT TOUR LEON TRANSFER
- 8 30 am: Arrival at the Augusto C Sandino International Airport and transfer to Leon - 10 am to 12 pm: Tour of the ruins of Leon Viejo. - 1 pm to 4 pm: Current Leon Tour: you will know places like the old location of the department of Leon, Ruins, cathedral of Leon, central park, church the calvary, the church the collection, National palace of culture where is the national archive , the national library and the national museum. - 5pm Arrival at the hotel. Accommodation in Leon DAY 2 TOUR VOLCAN CERRO NEGRO - 8 am: Departure from your hotel for a tour to Cerro Negro Volcano: this is the youngest volcano in Central America, located in the department of Leon, besides being one of the most active volcano in the region. In this part of the tour you can practice sandboarding, this is the only volcano in the world where you can do this activity. I loved to go to the most inclined part to realize the decay of the volcano, it could be pacticar inside the crater. - 2 pm to 4:30 pm: After descending the volcano you will see the beautiful beach of Las Peñitas, the perfect place to have lunch with a beautiful view of this beach located in the Pacific Ocean. - 4 30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Leon tour: you will know places like Leon Cathedral and Central Park. - 7 pm: Arrived in Managua. Accommodation in Managua. DAY 3 SAN JUAN DEL SUR - 8 am: Transfer from your hotel to San Juan de Sur: This beautiful fishing village is a Nicaraguan jewel, a magnet for surfers and bathers. At night, the beach is still active thanks to popular bars and beach discos. - 11 am: You will be able to appreciate the statue of Christ of the Mercy, which has a size of 15 meters, built of metal and covered with sheets of fiberglass. - 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm: Lunch - 3 pm: Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in San Juan del Sur DAY 4 GRANADA MIRADOR DE CATARINA - 9 am to 11:30 am: Departure from the hotel for a view of Catarina viewpoint: Caterina is a village near Masaya overlooking the lagoon of Apoyo. It is famous for its majestic view, as well as for its nurseries. |
El Mirador de Catarina is one of the highest hills surrounding the Laguna de Apoyo, as well as the Lake of Nicaragua that lies behind it. The Mombacho Volcano that surrounds the lake is also present in the view.

It is a friendly setting with little shops full of colorful memories. - 2 30 pm to 4 pm: then perform a cultural walk through Granada: know the central park of Granada, the cathedral, the chocolate museum, San Francisco Convent and the old hospital of Granada. - 4:30 pm: Transfer to hotel Accommodation in Granada DAY 5 ISLANDS OF GRANADA VOLCAN MASAYA - 2 pm to 3 30 pm: Departure from the hotel for a tour around the islets of Granada: The Islets of Granada are cosidedaradas as one of the most attractive natural paradises in Nicaragua. It is an archipelago of more than 365 islets in the great lake of Nicaragua or Lake Cocibolca, that presumed were formed thousands of years ago by the eruption of a volcano. Traveling on a small boat on the islets is an attractive, fun and relaxed way to travel the narrow channels that separate the islands and appreciate in all its splendor part of the vastness of Lake Nicaragua. - March 30 pm to 7: 30 pm Night Tour Masaya Volcano: This is one of the seven active volcanoes, the crater has an altitude of 635 m.s.n.m. and continuously emits large amounts of sulfur dioxide gas, it also maintains incandescence in it due to a lake of persistent lava. It is known as one of the six gates to hell, product of legends in times of Spanish conquest. - 8 pm: Arrive at your hotel. Accommodation in Granada.
