RUTA DE LAS FLORES
The Ruta de Las Flores, or the "Road of Flowers" is located in the mountainous area between the departments of Sonsonate, Santa Ana and Ahuachapan. The small colonial towns, including the popular Juayua, Apaneca and Ataco, make this popular travel route.
The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing and characterized by a lot of culture, with a cool climate around coffee plantations. Within its colonial cities with cobblestone streets and Spanish colonial architecture, culture is found in every corner, paintings and crafts, typical national gastronomy with its food festivals every weekend.
