El Veggie is a great option, not only for vegetarians, but for those who are trying to take a break from the usual dishes that use meat as the main ingredient. The place open up in a physical house at the end of the 3rd quatrimester of 2017, but Claudia, the owner, has been working on recepies and delivering her products and flavors since 2010. She adventure hersefl in the food service field first in Playa El Tunco, along with a dear friend of her, a few years ago, and due to the freshness of their products and the creativity they used in their dishes it was an instant success that lasted until they decide to close to continue with their studies in the city.
Now she is done with it, she decide to continue with what it was left in El Tunco, and reinvented it into what it is today. An option that can be enjoyed at the comfort of home, a hotel or hostel. Or at her place.
Because of the love she has for animals, and because she has noted that green food is an option that has been overlooked and not taken into consideration by so many recognized, and not so recognized, restaurants, El Veggie was born to give an opportunity to many people to change their diet habits and to open their mind to the idea that it’s possible to get all the nutrients that the body needs without harming any living beings, other than plants.
